Research Profile

The department has done significant work in the areas of Agricultural Climatology, crop weather interactions, field microclimatic modifications, weather-crop-insect-pest and disease interactions, crop weather forecasting, crop growth simulation modeling and regional climatic variability and formulation of weather based agro-advisories. The department has brought out number of publications in the form of research papers, popular articles, books, research bulletins, scientific notes, magazine notes, and chapters in books, proceedings of different symposia, conferences, seminars and workshops conducted in the department.
