Online Weather Based Agro Advisories are being updated regularly for end users by the AICRPAM Unit at Hisar at www.cropweatheroutlook.ernet.in, a portal maintained by Central Research Institute of Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad under the aegis of AICRP on Agrometeorology of ICAR. The department also issue weather based Agro Advisory Bulletins in Hindi and English based on medium range weather forecast received from NCMRWF/DST in collaboration with different Subject Matter Specialists of university on every Tuesday and Friday for the farmers of Western Zone of Haryana. These bulletins are disseminated for the farming community through electronic and print media. A new project on similar lines for end users of Eastern Zone of Haryana has been sanctioned at Rice Research Station, Kaul. Agrometeorological data of Hisar is also made available online regularly to the research users through department/university webpage.
